So, one of the things I want to do in the second half of the year is to get a feel for all of the Khadoran Warcasters and also see what I have already that works well with them. The first Warcaster in this experiment is Kommander Harkevich The Iron Wolf. Looking at him he has a spell list that seems to be half melee oriented and half shooting oriented and most players wont be able to wrap their heads around how to most effectively use this bearded goggled Warcaster. Hi again. I just wanted to let you know what is going on here at the studio. First of all we will be moving to a new location by the end of the month and have been working to get everything moved and ready so we have as little of an interruption in business as possible. That being said, we have finished a portion of the Trolls which have been sold as well as getting some progress done on the core of the Winterguard Infantry Deathstar for the Unbreakable 111th army. Additionally we have also finally gotten a set of 2 walls from Modest Magic which we will be reviewing soon. To see the pictures of whats done as well as see how we customized the Winter Guard Infantryman to give them an unique feel go ahead and hit the read more link below. So, Its been a few days and I apologize. I'm not going to go on too much. I just wanted to let everyone know that the trolls are almost done. Also I have been working on another Malifaux Crew and on Kovnik Joe. My partner is working on a crew of his own as well and once I have pictures of his stuff I will put it up. Until then I hope you enjoy some preview shots of the trolls, Perdita, and Joe. Just click on Read More Till next time CJ So, this past Weekend at the Game Vault we had a Deathclock event. I ended up having a great time for the most part and got to play against some casters I havent ever played against before. What can I say, I dont get out often. Anyway, I have summed up the matches and I think I learned some lessons. So, I started painting way back with BattleTech and then worked my way up to stuff like Warhammer 40k, Warmachine, Reaper, and so forth. Somethign though that I have noticed over time is that people all have differetn ways of painting thier armies full of little plastic and metal men. Coming from a BattleTech background I was used to playing what is essentially a skirmish game and only needed 3 or 4 'Mechs per faction. So I ended up with about 4-5 Mechs in each house and those eventually became companies over the course of many years. heck, even without the cross compatability I have 3 different Khador "Unit Schemes". |
