So, right now we are working on some Blood Angel models. This post is pretty short as it is pretty much a test shot of the Assault Marine squad. The backpacks and Jump Packs are being painted seperately. For some reason it seems my white balance is off and its washing the pics out slightly. I hope y'all enjoy the pics. Hit Read More to see them. Talk to ya later, CJ

Good afternoon everyone. So. I'm back and I'm still alive and recovering from Historicon. I pretty much just want to share some pics and some experiences. I also need to let some people know how things are coming along. Of my three events I ran the 1st St Ives Lancers defeated the 29th Royal Dragoons, the players all had a good time bashing each other up in Chatham, and the Confederacy ost the ebattle of Chancellorsville. I also played in the Clan Grand Melee and finished 2nd to a good friend of mine, Wayne. I did use the Paraih B which is cheaty by its very nature. I think one day I will take a real Clan Mech, until then though..... Now though, on to the things I know you all are truly looking for, pics and updates on your stuff. Good afternoon, This past weekend I was supposed to attend a Steamroller Deathclock tournament at The Game Vault here in Fredericksburg, VA. Unfortunately thought we ended up short on players for a tournament which is odd in the area. On the plus side though since we all came out to play and we had some players we all beat the snot out of each other a couple times and had some fun. I also got some pictures of some cool armies while I was there. Hey everyone. Its just me. I'm taking a break from painting minis from Historicon, Painting the Knight, and painting some Warmachine minis to just rant on what I think my big stumbling block is with Warhammer 40K's setting. To put it bluntly, its Skulls. I coudl handle some skulls, a medium amount of skulls even. But theyre everywhere. They are on terrain, buildings, vehicles, armor, spikes, idols, temples, in windows, in holes in the ground, on shoulderpads, im sure they are in more places too. |
