So, the Jumping Atlas and Yen Lo Wang are finally done. There isn't too much to talk about on them... well on YLW. Pretty Much the model for YLW is a bone stock Centurion model with no modifications. Instead of running the sin and its beams off the middle of the chest I decided to run them off the right side where the gun arm is located for a more stylistic version of YLW. I plan on picking up a Centurion at Historicon this year to actually modify to resemble YLW and paint with a much higher level of detail. The Jumping Atlas is specifically a competition piece and will never see tabletop play because of its nature. It is intended for the Historicon Painting Competition and I am hoping it will win or place well. So, without any further a due click on Read More to see the pics, YLW and the Atlas, as a note YLW needs to be based properly.... Till next time - CJ this is just an update on some Historicon 'Mechs. the Jumping Atlas is mounted to the base, the turbine cones need finished as does the base and I need to do the smoke from the wing and the jets exhaust..... and stuff.... Yen Lo Wang just need based (I am showing WiP pics, finished pics when Atlas is done too). A full blown YLW conversion will likely be sometime this winter.... Enjoy the pics CJ Hey everyone. This is just an update at an ungodly hour to let you know what is going on here at the studio. I also have some pics included for your enjoyment. So far I am preparing minis for 1 event still and also have to finish getting all my terrain and props needed for another. So, read below if you want to know the chaos that is prep work for Historicon 2013. Hey y'all. So right now I am lookign at how to paint my Capellan 'mechs. I have about 13 or 14 'Mechs that easily fit into the capellan theme. For ease fo use and easy recocnition they are painted in a green scheme that was nice when I was doing generic colors for houses but now that everything in my collection is very much faction specific save my Capellans and my Kuritans I am looking at these 2 fations for somethign a bit more unique. What I currently have is: Hey everyone. This is my second entry into the whole Warcaster adventure I'm trying to go on. Today I want to talk about Karchev the Terrible. Karchev holds a special place to me as he was the first non battlebox Warcaster I purchased. My first Warcaster was Kommander Sorscha who came with the two player battlebox I split with my friend. After I learned the basics, and having come from a "Mecha" background I was looking at my choices and I saw all these small but powerful people and then there was a Warcaster who was a giant Coal Burning, Smoke Belching, Steam Powered Goliath who strode among Warjacks like they were humans. This was the guy I was going with. It was a interesting learning choice, but I digress.......
