Till next time -

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give you a quick update on the Trolls in the office. The Blitzer and the Warders are finally finished. I have a few thoughts on them. The metal Blitzer is a beautiful model but seems to also suffer from being too detailed and over designed in its metal form. The plastic is superior in this. Personally I would recommend seeing if you can find the plastic gunner and gun to mount on top of a Metal Blitzer if you ever get the chance. Anyway... there are pics to see after you hit read more.

Hey everyone, I am just posting an update on the troll Blitzer and the Warders we have here. The Blitzer is almost done, just a few finishing touches needed. The warders have a good amount done and only really need to have their weapon arms, heads, and shields painted. They have already been tartaned which is the hardest art imho. On the Blitzer I have also found that the Gatling Gun doesnt seem to want to stay mounted to the mount assembley so it looks like there might be some pinning done to it tomorrow morning before the final touches are done. I have included some pics below
Until next time - CJ Hi everyone. This is Cj with a normal blog entry for once. I have been working alot of hours and it has made updating the blog and getting projects done a bear. I am glad thought o be able to show you, and my client, the progress we have been making though.. I'm not going to bore you with random stupid details, but I do hope that you enjoy the pictures after the Read More break.... Till next time - CJ Hey everyone, I just wanted to bring you a quick update on what is going on here. We have had a project that has been going on with the Trollbloods with Mulg the Ancient and the Trollblood Heavy Warbeast Multi Kit. I also have a couple personal projects that are going on and we have just recently picked up a Circle Orboros army from a local player. So lets take a look at how the projects were working on are going. Hey everyone. I am about to run out to work but just wanted to give you a quick update on Mulg. Mulg has been sealed to prevent any further wear from handling and will be getting touch ups tonight or tomorrow. Strakhov is nearly finished. I have just to do the face, feet, and small details on the arms where there are some leather straps. After that Mulg's loincloth will get a wash and highlight and highlighting will be done on Strakhov. Click read more to see some pics. - CJ Hey everyone, I just wanted to give you an update on the current project in the works right now. Mulg has finally been mounted on his base and is waiting to have strakhov finished and pinned into his hand so he can get ready for some snackin on some tasty tasty khadoran. Hit Read More to see some WIP pics till next time - CJ Hey everyone, I am just bringing up an update on one of the things I mentioned, the Mulg standing on a Jack. Well.... lets be clear, it is more like Mulg standing on the wreck of a Warjack from the Unbreakable 111th while crushing Kommander Strakhov in his giant blue hand...... But essentially, at its root, it is Mulg on a Jack. I think it will look pretty good but I wanted to post a few work in progress shots. So hit Read More if you want to see what were looking at so far. Hi again. I just wanted to let you know what is going on here at the studio. First of all we will be moving to a new location by the end of the month and have been working to get everything moved and ready so we have as little of an interruption in business as possible. That being said, we have finished a portion of the Trolls which have been sold as well as getting some progress done on the core of the Winterguard Infantry Deathstar for the Unbreakable 111th army. Additionally we have also finally gotten a set of 2 walls from Modest Magic which we will be reviewing soon. To see the pictures of whats done as well as see how we customized the Winter Guard Infantryman to give them an unique feel go ahead and hit the read more link below. So, I was poking around on Facebook today and I found an interesting image of a piece of terrain depicting 2 Space Marines playing Warhammer 40K in a ruined GW. I saw this and I recalled that there are a few self deprecating works out there by some intrepide modellers of stores and models which poke fun at both the hobby and the game itself. I thought I woudl go ahead and try to get some of those together here as I realy do appreciate seeing them out there and will try to give credit where it is due. If I cant find the original source then please let me know and I will make sure you get credited for your work. As for the update. The trollbloods are on hold until as we have a prespective buyer, I will get pics of the finished buggers up soon and we will be moving to a new studio sometime later this month, so our blogs may be a bit more infrequent then normal. As for all the goodness which is the cool models from the interwebs hit read more to see it all!! Till next time - CJ |
