Maybe I take my wargaming and hobbying too seriously. I would bet though that if we had a plywood board with paper that had the word "trees" written on it for forests, books for hills and soda cans for buildings that these same players would be appalled. So is "Playing it Painted" and expecting the same from your opponent elitist? I don't think so. If there is a minimum expected standard from the players for halfway decent looking terrain, then shouldn't there also be an expectation that both your army, and your opponents army look halfway decent? I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter, so let me know what you think.
