Hey y'all. So right now I am lookign at how to paint my Capellan 'mechs. I have about 13 or 14 'Mechs that easily fit into the capellan theme. For ease fo use and easy recocnition they are painted in a green scheme that was nice when I was doing generic colors for houses but now that everything in my collection is very much faction specific save my Capellans and my Kuritans I am looking at these 2 fations for somethign a bit more unique. What I currently have is: Hi everyone, and to all of the local acolytes of the Word of Blake I say, Praise Blake and his holy wisdom. I know most of my readers might not get it. If you don't then you should take a look at Battletech, in particular the "6th of June" movement in the Word of Blake. I really don't have a focus for the day. I guess it is sort of a studio update as well. Right now I have several projects in progress or waiting and I need to get all of them running and on time. So, Historicon 2013 is still a few months away, but I am going to beat the at listing their PEL. not the whole thing of course, but I am going to list for everyone out there what events I shoudl be running. I will give a update and let y'all know if anything changes before then. So below you will find the events that I should be running this year. This is what we woke up to this morning; snow. Lots of snow. We were supposed to be pickign up an army at abotu noon to be gin painting...... this has unfortunately been delayed. On that note though, we do have some interesting stuff coming into the studio as well as some models that are still waiting on paint and finish. So, I started painting way back with BattleTech and then worked my way up to stuff like Warhammer 40k, Warmachine, Reaper, and so forth. Somethign though that I have noticed over time is that people all have differetn ways of painting thier armies full of little plastic and metal men. Coming from a BattleTech background I was used to playing what is essentially a skirmish game and only needed 3 or 4 'Mechs per faction. So I ended up with about 4-5 Mechs in each house and those eventually became companies over the course of many years. heck, even without the cross compatability I have 3 different Khador "Unit Schemes". |
